Returns and Refunds

At Melbourne Cosmetics we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase.

We therefore recommend you read our Returns & Refunds Policy prior to you making a purchase from Melbourne Cosmetics, so you are familiar with our policy on returns and refunds and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from Melbourne Cosmetics, to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided to you.

Change of Mind

Please choose carefully. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or wrong selection purchases but will gladly exchange or issue a credit (less the return delivery cost) provided items are returned within 14 days of purchase and in their original condition and packaging.

Returns Procedure

To return your purchase please follow the procedure below:

  1. Report your return in writing to Melbourne Cosmetics by sending an email to info@melbournecosmetics.com.au
  2. Please wait for our reply and we will send you instructions shortly
  3. Pack the goods to be returned as carefully as possible
  4. Please retain original packing as this way the goods are ideally protected against damage in transit
  5. The value of the goods will be credited to your account as soon as they have arrived in our warehouse and gone through inspection.
  6. Our intention is to ensure that your returns process is easy, efficient and cost-efficient transaction for all parties.

Cancellations

Should you wish to cancel an order, which has not yet been despatched, please contact us in writing at info@melbournecosmetics.com.au. If your order has been despatched, you will need to return the order to us with reference to the Returns Procedure above.

Goods Damaged in Transit

If any goods arrive damaged, please contact us at info@melbournecosmetics.com.au as soon as possible with clear digital photographs showing the damaged goods and packaging. Melbourne Cosmetics will arrange to have the damaged goods returned to Melbourne Cosmetics and either arrange for a replacement of the goods or refund the price to you. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals.

Refunds

Refunds will be made by Melbourne Cosmetics via the method of payment used to make your purchase. Refunds will be processed as soon as the goods have arrived into our warehouse and have gone through inspection.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund in cases where we deem damage to a product to be due to fair wear and tear, misuse, failure to use in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions or failure to take reasonable care.

Delivery Charges

Where Melbourne Cosmetics considers the goods to have breached a consumer guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods to Melbourne Cosmetics will be at Melbourne Cosmetics’s cost.
